Can I E-file state tax from Pro series when MFS with wife nonresident alien and do not live in USA?

I have a case MFS with NRA spouse with no SSN, in Pro Series i put "NRA" as Spouse's Last Name and no other Spouse info. Then when e-filing, I unchecked the "Enable conversion error checking" box under Homebase/E-file/Electronic Filing/Convert-transmit Returns & Extensions/Convert & Transmit selected returns/extensions. This works for Federal but is coming rejected for the state. Does anyone know is it possible how to make this work for state returns to be E-filed? Please advise.

Its possible the state just doesnt accept EF returns with that NRA designation, youd have to pull out the EF instruction book for that particular state to know for sure, paper filing is probably where you'll end up.

Yes, it is saying that they need at least the name and spouse SSN to E-file.

I will send it by paper, it is the only way.
