This was allowed years ago.  My research shows that it is not allowed today.  20 years pros says that it is still allowed.  I disagree but cannot find anything other than " generally you cannot......Thank you.

we say generally because there is an exception in the case of children of divorced or separated parents, you can file HOH without a dependent if the other parent is claiming the child.
