Business Returns Due 01/15 when Intuit E-Filing Opens 01/16

Hi,

I have some fiscal year-end business returns due today that we e-filed previously during the IRS shutdown period, which show a status of "Received by Intuit". Even though the IRS e-file opened today at 6:00 AM PST, I noticed that Intuit's e-file opens tommorrow. Would this cause any issues with the IRS and states treating the returns as being e-filed "late"?

Hi @Tax Explorer & @IRonMaN Prior year business e-filing to the IRS will resume today (1/15/25). These returns will be time stamped and stock piled to be transmitted. I hope this help! See more on E-file start and stop dates for federal returns.

If those returns weren't on an extended due date, I would mail in some extensions just to be safe.

I have a 990 due today, Been checking all morning and it finally switched to "Sent to IRS" so intuit is eventually sending them along.
