Access to Government Instructions via link in Proseries

Why can't I access the Government Instructions via the link in Proseries? I was able to access the instructions in previous years but now the link no longer works in any of the prior three years. I spent  2 hours on the phone with someone at Intuit and she could not fix the issue. She just told me it must be a problem with some other program (e.g. Adobe) on my computer.

It  seems that since I am paying for the software I should be able to access all the features.

I think the programmers are concentrated on getting all the forms out and working properly, before fixing things that are for our convenience.

If that were only true.

wouldn't it have been faster to go to the IRS website and/or state website for the information or instructions rather than waste 2 hours on with Intuit? Even google would have been quicker.

not if you have to do it multiple times. Proseries should fix this so you don't have to go to government websites over and over.

"Proseries should fix this so you don't have to go to government websites over and over."

They should.  But if you take a survey of preparers that are waiting for states to be ready or are still waiting on certain forms, how are they going to vote?  When stuff like this comes up I just don't get why folks think wasting hours on the phone is a better use of time rather that clicking on the IRS website or Google.
