Above Average Computer Specs to run ProSeries with fast processing time

I am looking to update my computer. What are some high-end specs that I should be looking for in a computer to run Proseries as fast and efficiently as it is designed for?

FWIW I bought a new system with double the recommended everything and it still lags and has performance issues when other programs are running at the same time.

    My suggestion was going to be get double the memory. Guess that doesn't help

      Ive got 32M (4x the recommended), still get the stupid hang screen message that the system is busy blah blah blah
