A client has an ICHRA which makes them ineligible for the Premium Tax Credit on health insurance purchased through the exchange. Where do you indicate the ineligibility?

Individual Coverage HRA makes taxpayer ineligible for premium tax credit. Where do you indicate that ineligibility in Proseries?

    If a taxpayer is ineligible for the Premium Tax Credit for whatever reason, enter 0.01 for the SLCSP for each month.

     

    It is possible the IRS could send a notice asking if the taxpayer is qualified, so you may want to let your client know that.
