Question

A client extension request and payment was mailed timely. However, the extension request was not e-filed. How can I correct this?

Pro Series will not let me e-file the completed return because the extension request was not e-filed.

That makes no sense. My clients mail in extensions, I efile their returns with no problems.

if you are getting that message call support.

Uncheck the box to efile the extension 

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

Did you uncheck the extension boxes and make sure the efile boxes are checked?
