2025 ProSeries Professional Tax Planner – Schedule A Issue
Is anyone else seeing this in the 2025 Tax Planner when running 2026 scenarios?
I'm finding that Schedule A is limiting itemized deductions when it shouldn't. In the example below, only charitable contributions are changing between scenarios, yet the planner is reducing the Allowable Itemized Deductions for no apparent reason. There's no AGI limitation, phaseout, or other rule that should be causing a reduction.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to identify the cause or find a workaround?
