How do I take the 2023 Federal and State refund and carry it over to 2024 taxes as estimated payments

That is done in the 2023 program before efiling the 2023 return; there are spots to mark to apply refund to 2024.

    Open the 2023  return. On the 1040/1040SR Worksheet go to line 36 and enter the amount applied to 2024.
