2 Year Comparison - Total Itemized Deduction 2024 not flowing correctly from tax year 2024 program into 2025

In 2025 ProSeries Professional, I am now seeing that in the Two-Year Comparison, the Total Itemized Deductions number is not the same as what is in the native 2024 TY program.

The 2025 program appears to be adding ALL of the itemized deductions without respect to the SALT limitations in place with the prior 2024 tax year.

As long as it doesn't affect the actual return, that one isn't a high priority to fix.  At least that way you can compare total taxes paid to see if they are comparable to the prior year.

It’s a good tool for preparers to compare line by line year to year… i used to give it to clients but stopped…there’s another comparison presentation in the program (somewhere) that may be more appropriate.

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

The other presentation is the Client Presentation in tools.... I was wrong... for those who like to give it to clients it's misleading and should be fixed....  don't hold your breath...
