1095-A Shared Policy Allocation

Is there somewhere on the 1095-A that I'm not seeing to add another allocation. TPs minor son, who is not a dependent, is on his health insurance but I don't see anywhere to insert another line for the allocation. When I add another 1095-A as suggested, I get the duplicate assigned policy number error.

Are you allocating the same month to more than multiple people on different tax returns, or are you allocating different months in different ways?  The more details you can give, the better.

You said minor son - are you SURE he is not a dependent?

I'm entering the Shared Policy Premium Allocation Information in the Smart Worksheet (Part III) which flows to the 8962.

Yes, the child is his minor son, but not a dependent on this return. The TP and child's mother have an agreement in which they take turns claiming the child every other year. After I posted the question, I thought about it and realized, the allocation would be 100% to the TP since this child is only 9. Therefore, no need for a split in percentages for the allocation.

Things still aren't making sense to me.

Who are all of the "covered" people on the 1095-A?

Of those "covered" people, how many tax returns are being filed (not counting any tax returns filed by dependents)?
