Question

1065 Return Stuck to "Received by Intuit"

Hello and thank you in advance for reading my question. I efiled a 1065 approximately 5 days ago and since it's still showing me Received by Intuit. Usually it takes few hours to max a day for the return to show as accepted by IRS. Do you know how I can resubmit it or fix this error?

Hi @Ghost-Tax The status "received by Intuit" means that the filing has been received by Intuit and will be forwarded to the taxing agency.

    Hi, 

    I know what it means but in 10+ years I never had it stay this long in that status. I sent a couple other 1065 returns after this one and those were already accepted. I was reading online and it said that it might be stuck on the intuit server.

    Highlight the client in the EF homebase and then click on e-file and select update acknowledgements.  If nothing happens, be patient.  Sometimes returns get held up by Intuit if there are known issues on the return and then they are ultimately rejected with an explanation of what is happening.
