IRS MeF E-file Shutdown - ProSeries Transmission Details
The IRS will be shutting down the Individual Form 1040 e-file servers for annual maintenance Saturday November 30. ProSeries will continue to accept these transmissions until 5PM Pacific, on this date. This does not impact the ability to file returns from the business modules. Once e-file opens again for Tax Year 2024, prior year returns can be filed from 2022 and 2023, while 2021 will NOT reopen for e-file.
