IRS E-File Launch dates for Tax Year 2022
IRS individual e-file opens January 23, including prior year individual returns that are eligible (Tax Year 2020, 2021, 2022)
Prior year Business returns are currently available for e-file and acknowledgements will be available. Current year business returns can be e-filed at this time, however acknowledgements will not become available until January 17 or later.
Important Notes:
- To successfully e-file returns make sure your software is up to date by going to the Update menu and selecting Update Installed Products.
- Some Federal and State forms may not be final. Check ProSeries Forms Availability for the most up to date form release dates.
