Question

Will proconnect be updated to handle the new 2020 above the line charitable donations ? It doens't seem to be picking them up.

Taxpayer does not have enough deductions to itemize. Will Proconnect automatically pick up the $300 above the line entry ?

I put the actual on Schedule A - then look at line 10a (1040 screen) - click and it will have you type in the amount - limited to lesser of 300 or actual cash contributions made.

I ask for the donor confirmations.

    It's my understanding that the maximum above the line charitable contribution on a married filing joint return should now be $600 and the software is only taking $300.  When will this get fixed?
