Question

Why doesn't the 1099-NEC income flow into 1040 as Other income even after entering on both Other income and box 1 1099-NEC as mentioned in Help.

It's a sporadic activity and I followed the instructions in Help to input on both Other Income and details of 1099-NEC

1099-MISC and 1099-NEC is only input if there is withholding.

Report any income as part of the total income on the respective Schedule C, E, F, ...
