Which box do i enter mortgage interest?

I don't have the 1098. But I have the mortgage interest amount

If it was reported to the IRS on a 1098, enter it on the "on a 1098" line. If not, on the "not on a 1098" line. It's not asking "do you have a piece of paper in your hand." It's asking "will our computer be able to match it."
