where do I enter the California military retirement adjustment

For California retired military service members receiving a pension from DFAS, where do I enter the service member pension income deduction (up to $20,000) so it shows up in the CA schedule CA part 1, subtractions column B, Line 5

I'm using ProConnect

Hi, on the pension entry screen at the top click on "Other Information" tab.  Scroll down to the section for California and check the box for Qualifies for military retirement exclusion.

Is there a box to check for military pension where you enter the 1099-R ?

The more I know the more I don’t know.
