Are you asking about the client info screen?

That would be the date YOU promise to the client to have the return done.

    Enter the date you promised the client that the tax return would be complete.

      Susan... have you ever used this?  I don't have a clue as I haven't 🤣  

      And I don't promise my clients much of anything; they get the return when I get to it.
