Question

US LLC has foreign partner, can I still enter "FOREIGN US" as their ID? I am getting e-file rejection referred to ID but no critical diagnostics for efile.

I'm getting the same.  Return rejected for the ID but no critical error.  I've been with tech support for awhile and they are saying I need to change to "Applied For"  instead of "Foreign US".  I am definitely not comfortable doing this since they have not applied.  Did you get an answer on this yet?

No, I was told that the only other option is to paper file.
