Entered state info for 2020. Checked return

Are you asking if you can convert your 2020 input to a 2019 return? If so, the answer is NO. You get to do it all over again.

Thanks for your reply. No, actually it's the other way. Did the 2019 return and filed it. Created new 2020 return, rolling info from 2019 into 2020. Now, can't get certain 2019 state info out of the return. One thing different this year is employer used a different EIN number for 2020 than was used in 2019. Could this create an issue with the state info?

What info do you want to get out that you can't?

Particularly given the different EIN, I'd be really tempted to mark the proforma'd W-2 as "delete this year" and enter a second one for 2020. Perhaps that would solve whatever problem you're having?

The people you're asking are other users of the software, and this close to the filing deadline, our mind-reading skills aren't as good. You have essentially an unlimited amount of space for screenshots and explanation.
