Taxpayer Signature Pin and Date
Hi this is my first year using Proconnect and I have noticed that the Signature PIN or date are not printed on the taxpayer copy. is there a reason why? I have seen the copies of my clients from previous years and they have the 5-digit pin on the signature and the date.
Also, some of my clients don't have/don't know how to use an email therefore I print the 8879 form and have them sign it, then I scan and add it to their profile in proconnect.
all my tax returns have been accepted, however, I'm afraid they are being sent without the taxpayer pin or date.
please help!
