Start JOINT tax return

Having difficulty starting JOINT filing of 1040.  Add new client, but found no place to include SPOUSE.

When you create a new client, you enter only the details of the taxpayer.  Data for spouse is to be entered only on the tax return itself.

My guess > You did not select 2=Married Filing Joint in the top of the Client Information section.
