Signature on Amended 1040 X- paper file

Hi,

I was wondering if the signatures can be scaned or copied when paper file?

I thought we have done that before.

Since my clients husbank and wife are not in local, can I have them sign and scan to me.

No. It's not on the list.

Why do you want them to scan them to you?  Why don't you just send them the tax returns, they sign them, and then they can mail them?

And just to back up a bit ... is this tax return not eligible for e-file?
