Question

Should I wait to efile until the 1120S instructions are not in draft anymore with the IRS? I keep getting a diagnostic about it

There is a diagnostic in Proconnect that says teh 1120S instructions are still in draft, but that the form itself is final . Can I still file the return?

It depends on if you run with scissors and/or how fast you run with those scissors.  If you would never dream of running with scissors, wait.  If you run with scissors occasionally, give some serious thought about transmitting those returns instead of waiting.  If you run like the wind with scissors, hit that send button now 😁

    Intuit typically doesn't do any new-year programming until the Instructions and Publications are final.  So the program is likely running on 2021 rules.

    With that being said, offhand I can't think of any significant changes that would apply from 2021 to 2022.
