Should excluded unemployment income be included when calculating taxable social security benefits?

Currently in ProConnect, the $10,200 in excluded unemployment income is still being used to calculate the amount of Social Security benefits that are taxable?  Did the IRS come out with guidance that this should still be included in that calculation?

No, the IRS hasn't gone that far yet but did promise to provide further guidance.

In the meantime, you'd find the reason for this under the conformity amendments of the ARP:
