Completed Form 2555 and causing wages to be less than withholding, and this error code is coming up . When in fact that is not the case, wages were more than withholding.

    This is an error code diagnostic, prior to attempting to e-file. Ignoring this still does not show the client will receive a refund that is due.

    I am guessing that Intuit isn't showing the 2555 W-2 wages correctly as wages. Because if I had input as W-2 wages under income this would not be a problem. And the solution isn't to file a paper return - that is unacceptable.
