I pre-ordered a few months ago and am now transitioning away from doing as many tax returns as expected. I want to *reduce* the pre-ordered quantity for business and personal returns, but the website seems to only allow me to *increase* the pre-order size.

All ProConnect Tax 2024 tax returns purchased are tax-year specific. Beginning January 1 through December 31 (“Tax Year”), and accessible for use for such specific Tax Year. Unused Tax Year 2023 tax returns will still be accessible through December 31, 2026 or until used, whichever occurs first. User Fee required to access functionality in ProConnect services (sold separately). Terms, conditions, pricing, subscriptions, packages, features, availability, service, and support options are subject to change at any time without notice. Validity does not apply to usage in other product years. Refunds will not be given for prior purchases of ProConnect Tax or unused returns. ProConnect Tax returns are credited to the Customer Account Number that purchased them and cannot be transferred to other Intuit accounts.
Starting in Tax Year 2024, tax returns will require purchase of a separate, single-user (based on login) user fee (“user access”) in order to access functionality including e-filing, print, reporting, support and transcripts and benefits to other integrated services including IRS transcripts, Intuit Link, Intuit Tax Advisor, and K-1 delivery. A minimum of one paid user access service fee must be purchased together with your tax return bank. User Access can be purchased for additional users, as needed. Firms requiring 10 or more users pay a flat fee of $990 for user access. User access prices are exempt from discounts and promotions. User Access service period is by calendar year e.g., January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

If you purchase returns between the date of first availability of the next tax year, but before December 21, 2024, you may cancel your order. In the event you do not cancel your purchase before December 21, 2024, or purchase returns after December 21, 2024, Intuit shall issue a refund on unused returns within thirty (30) calendar days from your purchase date upon request. No other refund requests shall be honored.
When you buy ten or more returns, you can lock in your tax year 2024 per-return rate for any additional returns you buy for the remainder of the season. After your initial purchase of tax returns, you can later buy additional returns at the same per-return price -- no minimum return requirements for later purchases. If you purchase a larger volume of returns in your initial purchase, greater discounts are available.
Next year’s Per-return price won’t increase more than 7% for next tax year: Available only to new users of ProConnect Tax software who have not used Lacerte or ProSeries in tax year 2024. Your per-return price in your first year will be based on current-year pricing for the type and number of ProConnect Tax returns you select. After your first year, the annual renewal per-return price may increase. In the event of a price increase, your annual renewal per-return price will reflect a percentage increase that is less than or equal to the percentage increase of the ProConnect Tax list price, but in no case will your renewal per-return price increase more than 7% per year. This price increase limitation is available through your second year as a customer.
