I put RECOVERY REBATE CREDIT $1,800, but doesn't show $1,800 refundable on Form 1040

    I didn't know I should put "-1 " IN  THE BOX TO APPLY.

    If they got the 1800 advance, you wont see it again as a refundable credit on the return.
