re: Schedule CA 540-NR, There's a value in Part II, Section A, Line 1a, Column B (Income adjustments, W-2, box 1). Where does that number come from? It should be blank.

This value is for subtractions to federal wages for CA.

Check whether you have any input under State & Local > Modifications > CA Modifications, on the line for Wages [Adjust].

Can't conceive why else you would have an adjustment there without your input.

Otherwise, contact Support as George suggested.
