Re: Form 5695 Credits

I purchased two AC units in 2024. How do I input that info to receive two $600 credits? IRS website for Energy Efficient Home Improvements indicate that it should qualify for a credit up to $600 per item.

    Form 5695 and its Instructions interpret "item" as per item-category, which therefore limits it to $600 total.
