Purchasing tax software for the 2012-2018 tax years

My Pro Connect only goes back to 2019.  I have a client that needs their returns prepared for the tax years of 2012 - 2018.  How can I retrieve those years so that I can prepare them on the computer rather than by  hand?

Rarely does anyone need to file returns that are more than six years delinquent.  What are the special circumstances?

    If, after considering @BobKamman 's question, they still need to be filed, you might be able to download Lacerte (big sister to ProConnect). I believe Intuit killed ProConnect for years prior to 2019. I don't know if it even existed in 2012.

      Is this needed for immigration purposes?  It might be waving a red flag for an undocumented worker trying to get legal status, perhaps because of marriage or adult children who are citizens.  Even for someone with a green card, these are dangerous times to admit tax evasion.
