Proconnect won't let me change incorrect social

My extension rejected because I fat fingered the social security number, now it won't let me change it?

    I had the same problem, but it allowed me to change the SSN. I also had the same problem with a business client (who it turns out has been using the wrong EIN for over a decade but the IRS caught it this year) and it would NOT allow me to change the EIN on that return. Customer support had me create a new return with the correct info and file that and then request a refund on the return that I was unable to e-file due to the EIN being wrong. I'm not sure why it allowed me to change the SSN in one case but not the EIN in the other case. I assumed it was a difference between a business return and a personal return, but apparently not.
