I am not a paid preparer.  I received the following Error message:  Use of the efile PIN requires the paid preparer to have a PIN.  How do I clear this?

Also, my 990PF charity has no paid employees whatsoever.  I received the following Error message.  The following fields require an entry for each employee.. requiring name, address, compensation, etc.   How do I clear this?

Enter a 5 digit PIN of your choosing.

Might the 2nd one be referring to the officers/directors?

The more I know the more I don’t know.

To e-file you must have an EFIN. Is that possible what the error is? You can paper file. Go to client profile and remove the check marks to e-file. 

This is NOT like Turbo Tax. It requires the EFIN, even if just to e-file your own personal return.
