Problems submitting (efiling) a 2025 return?

I am receiving this message when trying to submit (efile) a 2025 return.

E-file Transmission Failure

Tax Year 2025 transmissions are not available. ProConnect Tax Online is not ready to process Tax Year 2025 for this return. Problem occurred transmitting efile data

I have successfully submitted over 50 returns with no issues. This is the only return this has occurred.

Suggestions?

This must be an issue because this 1 return involves a NC state return?

Any help appreciated.

Yes, that would be correct. North Carolina is not yet available yet for e-file in ProConnect. Please review this article for updates: 2025 ProConnect Tax Efile Agency Approval and Start Dates .

Why is this only affecting NC returns? I know other forms show TBD, but NC is the only state this is happening with. Lacerte is already e-filing NC returns, why not ProConnect.

100% of my clients have NC returns. This is killing me!

I had the same problem. I was also trying to file the Form 114 at the same time as the 1040. I unchecked the Form 114 box for efiling and The 1040 went through. Don't know if that is your problem though.
