Question

One of our client provided only "CoinBase transaction report". How to enter these details into Schedule D? Please advise. Thanks for your help.

These reports are not designed or organized for tax reporting.  That should just be your starting point.

More questions probably need to be asked, some of the data may need to be reconciled, additional manipulation/compilation/collation may be necessary, and the final product organized in a format acceptable can then be attached to F.8949, like any other stock transactions.

Input is also made the same way as other securities transactions.

    I was able to add Coinbase transactions to Schedule D but how to show them in form 8949?  Please help.
