Question

On NJ CBT-100-S, how can I change the beginning balance of NJ AAA? It's incorrect.

The beginning balance of NJ AAA is incorrect and needs to be adjusted, but I don't see how to do this in Pro Connect

Hi @Apple This may help to adjust the beginning balnce for you:

  1. Go to the Check Return tab.
  2. Select Forms > NJ > CBT-100S.
  3. Scroll to Page 9.
  4. Locate Part IV ‘A’ – Analysis of New Jersey Accumulated Adjustments Account.
  5. Click the Beginning Balance (shown in blue).
  6. This will take you to Input Return > Schedule M-2 > State & Local tab > New Jersey Accumulated Adjustments Account, where you can update the Beginning Balance box.
