Why doesnt the software generate Ohio IT-NRC?

      As with many things in life that don't happen the way I want them to, I have simply accepted the reason - CUZ!

        I spent hours to figure this out... ProConnect will generate IT-NRC.  Accessing the data entry fields for an Ohio part-year resident's personal interest and dividends is counter-intuitive.  Go to State & Local, Income, OH Bus. Inc. Alloc. and Apport. then look in the upper right corner of the resulting data entry screen, where you should see a "Nonbusiness Income" link, that will enable you to enter amounts that will appear on the IT NRC, such as nonbusiness interest and dividend income.  The IT-NRC will then be calculated and included in the return.
