NR spouses without SSN or ITIN
I have many temporary workers on H2B work visas. Some of them are married in their country. I know I have to put married filing separately, but the software asks me for the spouse's SSN or ITIN. What should I put if their spouses do not have a SSN or ITIN? It's almost impossible for them to get an ITIN for their spouses.
