non paid preparer

I have retired from commercial tax preparation, and now prepare only non paid returns for my family, approx 6 returns. Do I have to put any of my personal information on the return, in order to e file, or simply by using non paid preparer box is enough, and can or should I fill in my name as a third party designee

Thanks

If you/the taxpayer want the IRS to be able to speak with you, then enter the Third Party Designee info.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Thanks for your response, just want to make sure IRS will not reject as I still have my ERO, but if their is no tax prep info on return, is that needed to move on to E file process?
