Question

"NJ-630: The federal extension must be activated and the federal return must be marked for electronic filing to properly e-file the NJ extension. " How do I fix this?

I have the federal and multiple states marked to extend and e-file those extensions. NJ is the only one that is giving me trouble.

Without a return, it's tough to tell what entries have been made/not made.  With this one, it's possible that you have marked extensions for eFile in the Profile settings but didn't enter a "1" in the field "1=automatic extension, 2=blank (MANDATORY)" in the Extensions screen.
