NJ-1040NR - Critical Diagnostic - Line 15 Column B of the NJ-1040NR return must be less than or equal to line 15 column A for electronic filing
Client has a W-2 with NY and NJ income. He lives in NY full time and commutes to NJ for work.
The W-2 has three sections Copy B to be filed with Federal, Copy 2 to be filed with tax return for NJ, another copy 2 to be filed with tax return for NY.
The state wages listed for NJ are more than NY and on NJ-1040NR page 2 line 15 - It shows more income on 15b than 15a which according to the W-2 is correct. There was more money earned in NJ according to the W-2 box 16 than on the W-2 box 1.
Anyone ever encounter this or know how to correct in ProConnect?
