ProConnect "Firm Information" does not have an option for a Firm Address to be Foreign.

The program requires me to choose a State.  No option for country.

Interesting though - the Intuit ProConnect verified my account with me inserting my Foreign firm address with a random state filled (into the ProConnect system.)

Problem, IRS rejects my TR submittals because of this Intuit requirement of a US STATE (I input "Texas") and now this address does not tie to the address I used for my IRS EFILE approval.

To be clear - Proconnect requires a US format address and I must input a State.  The IRS does not recognize this as a Foreign address and now rejects my efilings.

Note - I could not even register w/ the IRS to efile b/c their system would not accept foreign addressed firms.  For 2022 tax year, The IRS finally accepted my account.  Note: I cannot use a US address.

Thanks - I did send an inquiry via the digital assistant ( which was no help at all) and was waiting for a weekday to call.  Thought I'd try the community in case I missed something.

Having the same problem. Any luck with registering your foreign firm address with ProConnect?

And another person here having the same problem ... has anyone figured this out? Do I need to abandon ProConnect after just getting started with it? 😐

Hello @swetax34 , please contact our support team through the Assistant under the Help menu in the product.  You can chat or request a callback.  This is more tied to the EFIN.  The address associated with your EFIN is the one which will appear on your forms, and the Firm Information page should not impact the return.
