Question

My client wants to make an estimated payment with the extension, but the only info I have now is the amount they want to pay. Where is the best place to enter this info?

I'm guessing I have to override something, but I'm not sure the best way to go about it.

Estimate payment request need to be made when filing the return. Alternatively have the client make the payment(s) at https://www.irs.gov/payments/direct-pay

NOTE: The first payment was due 4/15 and cannot be sent with the return. If filing after 6/15 or 9/15, the 2nd and/or 3rd can not be sent with the return.
