Everyone heard the One Big Beautiful Bill had No Tax on Social Security. Reality is different.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

    Our president keeps on saying that he got rid of taxes on Social Security so your client must be right.  The 1040 doesn’t agree with that but maybe if you don’t include Social Security and attach a note saying the president said it isn’t taxable your client might be ok.
