Question

MI and FED returns don't appear to be linked for e-file purposes. MI is generating form 8453. Any ideas on how to fix?

This was reported a while back but there's been no update from Intuit.  Take a look at this thread and feel free to add to it:

Putting this here as well as the other thread for anyone looking: 

Hi @itonewbie, 

After researching this one, it appears we're printing them on all Michigan filings temporarily to avoid a rejection. We are working to correct this so that this is not necessary and I will keep an eye out for any updates on timeframe for you.
