MFS State Income Tax Deduction Adjustment

I have a married filing separate return that is itemizing on both sides.  The state income tax deduction is not allowing for an adjustment to split the deduction 50/50.  How do you adjust the tax deduction without impacting the W-2 or other tax entries.
