MFJ Taxpayer Part-Year Resident Spouse Full-Year Resident

I have a married filing jointly in North Carolina where the taxpayer was a part-year resident and the spouse was a full-year resident. I can't seem to find a way to correctly show this on the North Carolina State return. Any solutions?

If you mark them part year on the federal worksheet will it not generate an allocation worksheet to divide income to proper state?

I am having the same issue. Military member taxpayer who is a resident of a state that doesn't have state tax and the spouse is a resident of NC. But to make the taxpayer a non-res I can't make the spouse a res.

Hi @manyhappyreturnsak Happy Tax Day! If you have not already we would reach out to ProConnect Tax Support. They would be able to remote in and take a look with you.
