About
I have been a specialist in international tax, global mobility, and executive compensation for over 20 years. In a career that spans 5 countries across 3 regions, I spent 11 years with Big Four in consulting and another 8 years leading global mobility functions of Fortune Global 500 companies before starting my consulting practice in Hong Kong in order to have a more flexible schedule for my family.
Accomplishments
During my career in tax consulting with Big Four accounting firms and, subsequently, leadership roles in global mobility, I have developed and implemented strategically-aligned mobility programs, structured cross-border corporate transactions and tax-efficient compensation packages, managed expatriate tax advisory, tax compliance, as well as international payroll, contributed to various greenfield and M&A projects, and supported countless mobile employees and senior executives. In addition to speaking at regional and national conferences, including those organized by Deloitte, Forum for Expatriate Management, and American Payroll Association, I have also served on the committee of Worldwide ERC, Forum for Expatriate Management, was on Deloitte Hong Kong's Client Advisory Board, and quoted in various industry publications.
Fun Facts
My family loves traveling to and living in different parts of the world. This fits in well with my career and helps me relate to expatriates I work with. You can probably tell from my avatar that I'm a Star Wars fan and, by my handle, know that I'm not such a newbie in PTO.
