MD nonresident refund

Maryland taxes withheld from my client W-2 by mistake. I clicked on "Nonresident" for MD but in "Check Return" there is no refund shown in MD. It says "Maryland gross income is less than the minimum filing level for this taxpayer's filing status." Can that be the reason? Howe can I claim the MD refund?

In that case, the return should essentially be all zeroes except for MD tax withheld and an equal amount to be refunded. Do you have the withholding coded to MD?

The more I know the more I don’t know.
